Treatment of PSORIASIS

PSORIASIS,
A recurring disease, is characterized  by eruptions on the skin of red circular patches of all sizes covered with dry, silvery scales.  The patches enlarge slowly, forming more extensive patches.  Psoriasis appears mainly on the legs, arms, scalp, ears and lower back.  The cause is unknown, although its occurrence correlates highly with heredity.

Exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet light reduces the scaling and redness of psoriasis. An increased intake of animal protein can spread the disease, while a reduction in animal protein  and fat intake can be useful for treating psoriasis.  Vitamin A, The B complex, vitamin C, and vitamin D, all of which play a part in skin health, have been found to be useful in treating some cases of the disease.  Some researchers have also found vitamin E to be effective in healing psoriasis. The body member of this ailment is skin.
